Once Vivek takes over Velonie’s case, the show picks up steam and makes you feel engaged. Your curiosity in the case isn’t much piqued by Vivek’s inability to locate any proof in the first three episodes. The first several episodes of the series are delivered at a fairly leisurely pace because the major plot is revealed so gradually. In any case, the premise of the series prepared you mentally for a journey.
Even if there are just a few episodes with a plot and fans find the investigating process to be interesting, the show’s biggest flaw is the killer’s motivation. Beginning with the fourth episode, the narrative grows more suspenseful, keeping viewers interested until the end of the season.
S.J. Suryah consistently outperformed Laila as Vivek throughout the series, while Nasser, who appeared in less episodes but was more prominent in them, gave his greatest performance. Vivek Prasanna, Hareesh Peradi, Smruthi Venkat, and Kumaran Thangarajan, among the other actors, all gave it their all.
Despite Andrew Louis’s series’ excellent writing, its predictable subject matter kept it from being widely popular. He also produced a suspense book with a predetermined plot. The sequences may have been entirely rewritten for the series’ advantage.
The technical excellence of Vadhandhi is remarkable. You are drawn into the narrative and given the impression that you are actually there thanks to Saravanan Ramasamy’s gorgeous visuals and Simon K. King’s evocative score. His score fit several of the play’s scenes, and the rest of the cast also did a great job.
Vadhandhi is a classic thriller since it follows the rules of the genre while still giving the story its own distinctive twist. If you like suspense movies, you might want to check this one out; otherwise, you might want to pass.
