Sangitha Masooda Movie Review & Ratings | Hit or Flop?

Masooda Movie Review: Producers such as Rahul Yadav Nakka are uncommon. Previously, he directed the films Malli Rava and Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya, and he is now directing “Masooda.” Due of its rarity, producing a horror film now demands considerable courage. The unique nature of the teaser and trailer for “Masooda” drew people’s attention.

Masooda Movie Review

Story

In the horror drama Masooda, the role of Nazia, a seventeen-year-old girl, is central. Her mother, Sangitha, seeks advice from their fearful next-door neighbor, Gopi. However, following a visit to “Peer Baba,” Nazia’s behaviour changes, causing friction between Gopi and Nazia’s mother. Her peculiar demeanour raises numerous questions, and during the trial, they discover that she is a girl named Masooda. Finally, who precisely is Masooda? The central question of the film is what happened to her in the past.

Movie Verdict

Once a popular and lucrative subgenre, horror has since lost popularity as audiences seek out new content. Masooda is not your typical horror story, which is why its attempt to revitalise the horror subgenre was successful. The film’s tone and plot quickly immerse you in Masooda’s world, despite the film’s seemingly ordinary beginning.

In the first act, dramatic tension increased as Gopi and Sangeetha attempted to treat Nazia’s illness with conventional medicine and Peer Baba. Excellent suspense was generated by these scenes, which kept the audience engaged throughout the first act. As soon as the second act begins, the film becomes immediately intriguing by peeling back all the layers and gradually revealing the plot twists, keeping the audience captivated throughout.

Sai Kiran intended to create an original horror film, but instead produced the greatest horror thriller ever made. His filmmaking style is able to immerse viewers in the story and elicit strong responses from them.

The technical quality of Masooda is high despite the film’s modest budget. Thanks to Nagesh Banell’s cinematography and Prashanth R. Vihari’s creepy, multi-instrumental score, everything looks fantastic.

Masooda is one of the best horror films ever made.
